PASTORAL CARE

Pastors have a huge responsibility. They deal with matters of life and death. Big demands and expectations are placed on people who minister on a day-to-day basis. Researchers with Fuller Institute of Church Growth conducted a survey and found that 70 percent of pastors stated they have no one they consider to be a close friend. And according to this same survey, 50 percent have considered leaving the ministry within the last three months. Our vision is to facilitate a means for pastors and their wives to come together and be ministered to through events. This will provide opportunities to listen to one another and build a spiritual support system. CHEV wants to help pastors build and protect their marriages. A pastor, who is cared for, is a healthy pastor, with a healthy wife and a healthy family, resulting in a healthy congregation.
